Dr. Alaa Tareq

A researcher in healthy-lifestyle measures drawn from the science of Humours and Temperaments, ancient Arabic and Unani medicine.
She shares “This research began for me. I was desperately looking for a way to cure my body from Multiple Sclerosis; a debilitating illness that I was diagnosed with over ten years ago. I spent years on the path to wellness and recovery, it was hard yet fruitful journey, today I do not need any medication and live with a higher level of self-awareness and gratitude than I ever did before my diagnosis.”
Dr. Alaa holds a Doctorate degree from the University of Liverpool, UK and has studied coaching and leadership through a rigorous 18-month executive program at the University of Cambridge, UK. She is a certified trainer and coach who trained various topics in more than 15 countries in conjunction with her work in corporate banking and business consultancy prior to moving to training and coaching on lifestyle.
It is important to note that all the posts and courses shared on this platform and any related pages on social media are based on the aforementioned and therefore, do not contain any medical or nutritional recommendations. The usual story … as told by Dr. Alaa Tareq.

I wasn’t interested in health or healthy lifestyles, I thought I had it all, until of course, I lost it. One day, I could not walk straight, I was unwell, and I was quickly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis – MS. As simple as that.

I thought I knew what Multiple Sclerosis was; I had watched clips from a local series featuring an MS patient and was terrified as I should have when I heard the diagnosis. My doctor shared it with me even before he received the MRI results; because my case was so bad and so obvious, he did not need further evidence to confirm my illness.

How we started
The usual story … as narrated by Dr. Alaa Tariq.
I wasn’t interested in health or a healthy lifestyle, I thought I had it, One day I lost the ability to walk properly, Then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis – MS. Quite simply. I thought I knew what multiple sclerosis was; I watched clips from a Gulf series called “Zwara Khamis” and was terrified as I should have heard the diagnosis from my doctor, who shared it with me even before he asked for an MRI; Because my case was clear.

It started as everybody else starts when they get a terrifying diagnosis like this. Traditional methods, And I went on it until I knew that it was not going to take me towards recovery, But at best it will help me slow down the disability, And controlling the symptoms as mentioned, as for the worst, it will leave me with weakness, fatigue, and perhaps a disability that I will deal with for life, My disease is labeled “chronic”, There is no hope of his recovery. Or so it was the narration.
Years passed, with relapse after setback, Until I was shot in my eye, I can vouch that losing sight is one of the most effective methods; For the universe to send a message to you.
After this “big” setback, I began to search and read about systematic and tried methods; To put my body in harmony with nature and instinct; Because it was clear that I was in a collision, Not in agreement with her, And here I began to learn about the science of moods of the universe, which is rooted in the management of life aspect of the science of moods and mixes And it was the biggest shift in my life.
Relapses stopped completely; As long as you are on this system, But that wasn’t the only big difference. And stopping relapses without the need for medication is a great achievement by all accounts. I began to understand and know .. I began to understand the world and the universe, And everything is going on more clearly.
The science of moods of the universe Tells me about myself …
Why do I feel upset at sunset …?
Why did I tend to bite my nails …?
Why did I have a tendency to be anxious and stressed …?
Why do I like salty food …?
Why have you always been skinny And have I had no problems with obesity at any point in my life …?
Why can’t I get rid of dark circles under my eyes …?
And tell me about the world, and relationships, And the souls of people, And the origins of eating, The foundations of everything.
The amount of information was not so much key as it was. Thus, I began documenting what I learned in the science of cosmic humors, In addition to all the steps I have taken to heal, This includes: The use of modern and functional medicine.
We started as a blog, And now it has become a platform for transferring knowledge that has been acquired over the years on the road to recovery, In cooperation with a team of translators and administrators. And as a researcher with a PhD from one of the most prestigious British universities in the academic community; The same methodology was applied to science collection, And the manufacture of training bags.
We are clinging to the identity of the researcher, And flag carrier, Not the practitioner; Therefore, there is an assurance that there are no medical, or dietary recommendations, Or medication is presented here, With the necessity of consulting a doctor and a nutritionist before applying any of the science presented here.
How we started

I started as everybody would following the receipt of such a terrifying diagnosis. I went after conventional methods and remained on them until I knew that they were not going to take me towards recovery, but at best, help slow down the inevitable disability and control my current symptoms. You see, my disease was labeled “chronic”, there is no hope for cure or true recovery, or so I was told.

Years passed, with one relapse after another, until it hit me in the eye, and I can guarantee you that losing sight is one of the most effective ways the universe can send you a message. I understood that I had to do something. I had to protect me.

After this “big” relapse, I began to search and read about systematic methods to put my body in harmony with nature and wellness, because it had become clear to me, that I was not.

I began to learn about the ancient science of healthy-lifestyle measures drawn from the science of Humours and Temperaments, ancient Arabic and Unani medicine, which is by the way, although ancient and rooted in human history is still taught in universities. Everything started to make sense and it was the biggest awakening of my life.

As long as you are on the system that I have created for myself, relapses stopped completely, but that wasn’t the only big difference.

Let me be clear, stopping relapses for an MS patient without the need for medication is a great achievement by all accounts. But what intrigued me the most, was that I began to understand and know .. I began to understand the world and the universe.

This knowledge told me more about myself …

Why do I feel uncomfortable at sunset …?
Why did I tend to bite my nails …?
Why did I have a tendency to be in a continues state of anxiety and stress …?
Why do I like salty food …?
Why have you always been skinny and never dealt with weight issues?
Why can’t I get rid of dark circles under my eyes …?

It told me about the world, relationships, people, and much more and so I continue to learn and grow. Today, I share what I was blesses to learn with you in this interactive platform.

My story is personal to me, although I hope some aspects of it inspires you, I do not recommend deviating from your doctor’s prescribed medication and protocol. Embark on the journey to wellness and wholeness and your health will speak for itself.
