If you have constipation; please do not get caught up in anything other than curing constipation!! This point is doubly essential for those who suffer from chronic diseases. Avicenna describes constipation as the ‘mother of diseases’, and it is defined as the state in which the individual goes to the toilet less than twice a day.
For emergency cases only, Senna leaves can be used by 2.5 to 3 grams in lukewarm water, then heated to a boiling point and left for 3 to 4 minutes, noting that the body should not get used to such herbs permanently.
Besides, if you suffer from constipation, you can take one to two tablespoons of the following mixture:
50 grams of Senna leaves, 50 grams of coriander seeds, 50 grams of Hollyhock, 25 grams of red roses, cleaned, mixed and crushed, and a tablespoon of the mixture is taken with half a cup of water and sweetened with honey. (Read yourself in Controls Use before consuming any herb even if it’s being traded)
An important point regarding constipation is the intake of adequate amounts of water and fiber, especially in adopting a diet based on meat.
Consuming laxative seeds in boiled/hot water is preferable; to deal with chronic constipation, as consuming them in cold water has an astringent effect.
Some laxative seeds available at Attar and some supermarkets: Basil seeds, Balingo (lallemantia) Khakshir (Descurainia Sophia) and flaxseed.
The various laxative seed mixes as an example:

  1. 1. Boil an amount of khakshir (Descurainia Sophia) after washing it, then fill it with a third of a cup and add a little hot water. It can be sweetened with natural honey or add an intense taste (spicy) by adding drops of peppermint, marjoram, basil, rose water and saffron (as desired). 2. 2. Mix a mixture of 1 tablespoon of Balingo (lallemantia) and 2 teaspoons of basil seeds. Stir it slowly until the syrup thickens and can be flavoured as mentioned in the first point.
So, the equation for curing the chronic constipation is simply enough, fiber + enough water + laxative seeds (especially when consuming a meat-based diet) + reducing cold and dry mood foods such as tea (even green tea) and can be replaced with a Borage herb. …
